Artists Striving To End Poverty (ASTEP) believes that access to the arts is essential to children's academic and social success. Our programs are research-based, and we partner with schools and community organizations to meet the specific needs of the communities we serve. In addition, ASTEP's artists are the key to our success. We believe that the arts can build strong communities through activities that promote community development, enhance cultural awareness, and build community bonds.
