Mary-Mitchell Campbell is currently the music director of The Addams Family and has worked as a music director, orchestrator, vocal coach and pianist to some of Broadway's most successful performers. Her New York credits include: Next to Normal, Company, Sweeney Todd, Beauty and the Beast, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Prince and the Pauper, First Lady Suite, The World of Nick Adams, Our Town, Go Go Beach, The Screams of Kitty Genovese, The Audience, and Sweet Charity at Lincoln Center. Regionally she has worked on productions of Little House on the Prairie, 3hree and Embarrassments; internationally: Grace, the Musical (with Cy Coleman in Amsterdam); Green Violin (St. Petersburg) and the recordings of As I Am (Kristin Chenoweth) and 3hree.

In 2007, Mary-Mitchell was the Music Supervisor and Orchestrator of the Tony winning production of Stephen Sondheim's Company, for which she won a Drama Desk award. Company was later featured on PBS's Great Performances.(February 2008)

Ms. Campbell has been the music director for many different celebrity studded benefits including Nothing Like A Dame and Gypsy of the Year for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, annual fundraiser concerts for Paul Newman and The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, and several benefits for other wonderful organizations like The Acting Company, Westport Country Playhouse and Sing for Hope.

She has toured with Tony winners Kristin Chenoweth and Laura Benanti as well as a national tour with the Boston Pops. She has performed at the White House, Carnegie Hall as well as internationally in Russia and in Amsterdam where she began work as Cy Coleman's protege. She has had the privilege of working with Meryl Streep, Jack Nicholson, Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Robin Williams, Carole King, James Taylor, Matt Damon, Kelly Clarkson, Alec Baldwin, Marc Anthony, Whoopi Goldberg, and many others.

Ms. Campbell has taught at Juilliard, NYU, and Boston College as well as doing many masterclasses around the country. She is from North Carolina and holds degrees from the North Carolina School of the Arts and Furman University.
