ASTEP at Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Benefit

WESTPORT, CT - ASTEP members attended Paul Newman's annual benefit gala on September 13-15th. The yearly benefit helps to support the Hole in the Wall Gang camps which provide camp experiences for children with serious illnesses.

For the past ten years Mary-Mitchell Campbell has done expert work music directing Paul Newman's annual Hole in The Wall Gang Camp gala. She, along with many caring celebrities have donated their time and talents generously to help raise millions of dollars for the camps mission: to provide children with cancer and other serious illnesses a camping experience of the highest quality while extending year-round support to their families and health care providers.

Good friends of both Paul Newman and A.E. Hotchner, Mary-Mitchell was introduced and then fell madly in love with the children and the mission of Hole in the Wall because of her mentor Cy Coleman, who for many years, wrote the music for the gala.

For the past three years Paul and Hotchner have also taken an interest in Mary-Mitchell's work with ASTEP and have been assisting ASTEP's mission by contributing through the Newman's Own Foundation.
