[Personal note from Michelle]

Many of you know that over the past 3 years I've been involved in the formation of a wonderful non-profit, ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty). ASTEP provides arts education and empowerment to impoverished children in the US, South Africa and India. After producing our concert series for a year I am finally performing again!

Come join us for Andrew Lippa's John & Jen -in concert starring Colby Foytik and myself, directed by Joe Cassidy, and musical direction by Irene Wong. For four nights only: Monday August 25th-Thursday August 28th at 7 pm. Admission is $20. All proceeds benefit ASTEP and our partner school in India, Shanti Bhavan.

I had the pleasure of teaching at Shanti Bhavan last year and can attest to how well utilized the money raised at this event will be. You will be seeing (what I hope is) a fantastic concert of a beautiful score, a touching story in addition to participating the worthy cause of educating and caring for some amazing, loving and compassionate children.
