Conceived, produced and musical directed by Drama Desk-nominated orchestrator Lynne Shankel (Cry-Baby, Altar Boyz, Vanities, Summer of '42), this lively evening supporting ASTEP's programs will feature some of Broadway's most sought-after talent including Raul Esparza (currently in Speed the Plow; ABC’s Pushing Daisies) Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Chester Gregory II (Hairspray, Cry-Baby), Sierra Boggess (Ariel in Broadway's The Little Mermaid), Tyler Maynard (Altar Boyz; The Little Mermaid), Lindsay Mendez (Grease), Tory Ross (Cry-Baby, 9 to 5), and many more to be announced.

A New York City Christmas is directed by Olivier Award nominee Stafford Arima (London's Ragtime, Altar Boyz, Bowfire, The Secret Garden benefit concert) and will feature a live band backing performances of original arrangements of the artists' favorite holiday songs. All of the artists are volunteering their talent to making this night a success.
